What is “no pressure power washing”?"No pressure power washing," often referred to as "soft washing," is a cleaning method that uses low-pressure water combined with specialized cleaning solutions to clean surfaces. Unlike traditional pressure washing, which relies on high-pressure water to blast away dirt and grime, no-pressure power washing gently cleans surfaces without the risk of damage.

Which surfaces need "no-pressure" or "low-pressure" power washing? No pressure or low pressure power washing is great for cleaning delicate surfaces like vinyl siding, stucco and brick walls, roofs, and painted areas since it minimizes the risk of damage that could occur with high-pressure washing. It's also ideal for fences, decks, and some outdoor furniture.

Does soft washing really get surfaces clean?Yes, soft washing, "no-pressure" or low-pressure washing reduces the risk damage to surfaces, making it a safer option for cleaning. The cleaning solutions are typically biodegradable and environmentally friendly, yet they are good at killing mold and algae at the roots, which provides a more thorough and longer-lasting clean.

Can I use bleach to clean the outside of my house? We don’t recommend washing your home's exterior with bleach. While bleach is effective at killing mold, mildew, and algae, it can also cause damage if not used correctly. Here are some potential issues: Bleach can discolor or deteriorate some surfaces, including siding, roofs, and painted areas. It can harm plants, landscaping, and the environment if it runs off into the soil or water systems, while breathing the fumes or getting it on your skin is also a danger. Professional pressure washing companies know the appropriate cleaning agents and techniques for each type of surface, ensuring a thorough clean without causing damage.
